At Christmas, decorations and illuminations give the town of Cernay and its surrounding villages a magical feel and the enchantment of Christmas is experienced in the many events staged: Christmas concerts, Saint Nicholas rewards well-behaved children on 6th December. In Uffholtz, an Advent window opens every evening, offering young and old alike, its magic of stories, songs and short plays.
