With its festive illuminations that are quite unique in Alsace, its Christmas markets and various events such as storytelling, carol-singing and Advent concerts, Mulhouse is a privileged place to experience the magic of Christmas.
While kids dream of Santa Claus, adults go back to their childhood days.
A traditional Christmas market awaits us at the heart of the historic centre, with its wooden chalets decorated in the Christmas fabric, specially designed each year for the occasion. Smells of mulled wine, gingerbread, hot chestnuts and “bredele” (small typically Alsatian cakes) embalm the market and invite you to taste these famous regional specialities.

Our star moment: the Advent calendar with surprise entertainment every day at 6 p.m. from 1st to 24th December under the City Hall window.
