A Christmas of 1001 colours

For its 17th edition, Noël Bleu is decked out in 1001 colours, offering Guebwiller a showcase of light, poetry and fantasy. This year, the magic of Christmas comes in a myriad of vibrant hues, bringing the streets and hearts to life in joyful and luminous harmony.

Highlights:

Opening show ‘Rouge’ by the Gratte-ciel company (29 November, 7 p.m., Place de l'Hôtel de Ville): an aerial cabaret under a crane, a tribute to passion and life.

Artistic entertainment every weekend (6-7, 13-14, 20-21 December): acrobats, brass bands, dancers, Christmas cabaret by the Pin-Up d'Alsace and light installations.

Christmas markets:

  • Place Saint-Léger: artisanal and local products, from 29 November to 21 December, Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays from 3pm to 8pm.
  • Cave Dîmière: Lion's Club market, from 29 November to 21 December, Saturdays and Sundays from 3pm to 8pm.

Gourmet village, ice rink and merry-go-round:

  • Place de l'Hôtel de Ville from 29 November to 5 January, Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from 3pm to 8pm.

Other partners:

  • Guebwiller Media Library: storytelling, shows, exhibitions and concerts for young audiences
  • Théodore Deck Museum: free exhibition ‘Reflets d'Orient’ (Reflections of the Orient) with rare pieces and guided tours. Immerse yourself in the fascinating world of Orientalism through the work of ceramist Théodore Deck.
  • Château de la Neuenbourg: free exhibition ‘Aux Portes de l'Orient’ (At the Gates of the Orient), created by the Art and History Department of the Guebwiller Region Community of Communes, showcasing local artists and other personalities who have left their mark on the Orientalist movement.
  • Dominicains de Haute-Alsace: come and discover a sound and light show in the cloister, entitled ‘Le grand voyage de Papa Noël’ (Santa Claus's big journey), a variation on Santa Claus across the 7 continents, in Latin, rap, Asian, vahine, African, Antarctic and techno versions. Weekends of 6/7, 13/14 and 20/21 December from 3pm to 8pm.
